70% of the calls made to the Wellesley Island VFD are for ambulance service. The department is still raising funds to help pay for a new ambulance.
	The Densmore Fire House On County Rt. 100 A, Home to some special events such as summer Steak Roasts
	The T. I. Park Fire Station, Down in T. I. Park. The two Fire Houses help the WIVFD better serve the whole Island.

The Wellesley Island Fire Department is constantly upgrading
their equipment to better serve the whole Island.
A new E-1 Fire Engine/Pumper was recently purchased.
New outboard motors are going on the fire boat.
A new ambulance is being put into service.
